Though earlier it was rumored that Jayaram would be doing a double role in the next film by hit-making director K. Madhu (with whom he would be teaming up after a long time), the latest buzz is that it's not a double role, but a triple role that Jayaram would be doing in the film.

The film, shoot for which has already commenced, has been titled 'Rahasya Police' and Jayaram is playing the roles of a Police Officer, a goonda and an investigating officer from the CBI. S.N. Swamy, who is one of the all-time favorites of K. Madhu and who has teamed up with the director in many big hits, is in charge of the script.

'Rahasya Police' is being produced by Siyad Kokker under the banner of Kokkers Films. After Randam Varavu (1990), this is the second time that Jayaram teams up with veteran K. Madhu, known for investigative thrillerslike Nadiya Kollappetta Rathri (2007), Nerariyan CBI (2005), Sethurama Iyer CBI (2004), Nariman (2001), Crime File (1999) and Oru Abhibhashakante Case Diary (1995).

After a short time, Jayaram is back to play a funny cop for the movie ‘Rahasya Police’. Directed by K Madhu in the scripts of S N Swamy, the movie is a murder investigation thriller featuring Jayaram in a double role.
 
While the protagonist of the movie is the local sub inspector, Jayaram's second role will be as a Goonda, who is under cover on an important mission.

Jayaram is playing the roles of a Police Officer, a goonda and an investigating officer from the CBI. ‘Rahasya Police’ will feature five heroines including Mangala, Samvrutha Sunil, Sindhu Menon, Ayilya and Shivani.

The crew is continuing with its shoot at Thodupuzha.
