Though Dileep is finding it hard to be amidst hits, he still has plenty of promising projects that may workout for him in the immediate future. The most promising offer that has came his way, is from popular Tamil film maker Gautham Menon.

A Malayalee by himself, Gautham has been for quite sometime trying to start off in Malayalam. Dileep who sensed his interest in doing one such project, has discussed with Gautham about the chances and the project was finalised.

This movie yet to be titled will be a bilingual, also made in Malayalam. A R Rahman will be the music director of this movie which will kick off in a couple of months.

Meanwhile Gautham’s latest movie ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’ is now acclaimed as a hit in Tamil Nadu and also in Kerala as well. The movie which was shot in Kerala, is continuing with its success run in select centres in the major metros. The songs by A R Rahman are also big hits among the youth.

Actor Dileep, as usuall, will have a bunch of vareity project and have an extremely busy year in 2009 & 2010. The most dream-come-true role with well known Tamil director Goutam Menon is the most remarkable one. The hitmaker Goutam Menon’s next Project is with Dileep as the hero. The story and direction will be done by the director himself, This project will be soon launched after the commited works. The actor is presently in the sets of  ’Swa Le‘ directed by P.Sukumar. Swale ’s second schedule is going on at Kochi.

After this project, Dileep will complete ‘Bodyguard’ in which South Indian super actress Nayantara is making a comeback to Malayalam. Hitmaker Siddhique is the director of  ’Bodyguard‘. Dileep wil join Body Guard within two days. Body Guard’s Second and final schedule is now going in Palakkad. Later the crew will go for Munnar for remainig song shoot. At the same time he have to complete Renjith’s ‘Kerala Cafe‘, the movie with ten directors. Dileep’s one weeks dates are reserved for Kerala Cafe.

After ‘Bodyguard’, Dileep will start his untitiled movie with his former guru and veteran director Kamal. The movie will feature Sathyaraj and Mamta Mohandas in important roles. After completing this movie, Dileep will join in ‘Pappy Appacha’ with debutante Mammas. The movie produced by Dileep’s brother Anoop, will have actor Innocent donning the father character of Dileep, which says the funny story of a father & son who became gradullay rich from their scavanger jobs. After this movie, Dileep will join the movie of another debutante Thomson, named as ‘Karyasthan‘, Yet another family entertainer, this movie will be produced by Anto for Play House.

Vineeth Sreenivasan’s ‘Malarvaadi Arts club‘ will set off after it, Dileep is doing an important role in Malarvadi, which is produced by the actor himself under Graand Productions. Next project to begin is  Anwar Rashid’s ‘Brothers‘ which deals with the funny and deep affecton of two brothers, in which Mega Star Mammooty and Dileep acts as brothers. Raj Babu’s next project ‘Spiderman‘ comes with a vareity subject, Sibi-Uday’s next movie ‘Master‘ directed by Sandhya Mohan, Dileep-Mammooty duos another project under Graand Productions, B.Unnikrishnan’s action packed love story, ‘CID Moossa From Scotland‘ Directed by Jhony Antony, M.Manu’s off beat movie ‘Nale‘ with Shobhana are the future projects.

More over this, many movies with Shafi, Renjith, Joshiy etc are yet to be finalized.
